The 100% Casein Complex is a premium protein blend composed solely of casein milk proteins. Casein is rich in essential branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) and contains particularly high levels of L-glutamine, even more than whey protein. L-glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in the human body. The 100% Casein Complex protein contributes to the maintenance and growth of muscle mass as well as to the maintenance of healthy bones. These milk proteins are known as complete proteins, as they supply the body with all the necessary amino acids, including the 9 amino acids that the body cannot synthesise itself and which must be obtained from food (histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, valine).
